10% of Jiva net sales fund new research and humanitarian efforts.

A minimum of 10% of the net profits of JIVA “Essence of Life” is devoted to ongoing medical and scientific research, as well as being donated to humanitarian activities. One of the recipient humanitarian entities, Rural Education and Development (READ), is an INGO that has received international recognition for its work in building libraries and economic development centers, thus far almost 50 in number, in remote areas of the developing world. The READ program has become a global model for sustainable education, economic and community development and its efforts have directly touched the lives of over half a million people.
